Topshop's Australian customers will soon be able to stroll into the brand's stores and pick up new clothing items… without paying on the spot. “For our millennial customer, the concept of instant gratification is key, and can now be satisfied through Afterpay, while providing them with the opportunity to purchase that must have item before it sells out,” Topshop and Topman Australia chairman Hilton Seskin told WWD. Afterpay has seen fast success as an online payment method, but the new move will see the partnership rolled out across nine physical Topshop stores in Australia, following in the footsteps of brands such as Veronika Maine and Cue Clothing Co.
