Central Saint Martins graduate Richard Quinn has been awarded the H&M Design Award for 2017, it was announced on Wednesday in London. As winner of the high-street fashion retailer's prestigious award, Quinn will win €50,000, a year mentorship with H&M, and the chance to develop some of his pieces to be sold in selected H&M stores in fall 2017. The London-born 26-year-old womenswear designer prints all of his own fabrics using ethical processes and has plans to open a print studio in London that would serve as a creative hub for young designers.
